Community Care Circle Series

Holding ourselves accountable for our care and for taking care of each other

What is Community Care?

Estoy Aqui promotes the value of interdependence and highlights the importance of curiosity, validation, and consent when supporting others. We look beyond the idea of individual responsibility and value community connection as one of the most powerful protective strategies we can use to respond to mental health challenges.

What is a Community Care Circle (CCC)?

Community Care Circles are designed to co-create brave spaces of respect and care. They use guided healing and facilitated dialogue practices to give participants the opportunity to speak about their personal experiences and their relationship to a specific topic. At the end of each section, participants will have time to practice Estoy Aqui Community Care model, helping to deepen connections and support continued resistance and healing.
